Denison smock opinions sought

I'm looking at this Denison smock. The provenance is this was purchased from the son of the veteran. The smock was worn by Private Alex Roberts. He initially served with the 1st South Staffordshire Regiment and then with the 16th Parachute Brigade. His son believed his father jumped into Arnhem.

Are Dension experts able to please take a look and advise if this is a ww2 smock.
