What is this British badge ?

It's small, and in sterling silver and enamel, so I am assuming that it was a sweetheart pin. For that matter, I am assuming that it is British as well.

    Anyone recognize it ?

    Hmmm....

Now that I look at the badge in enlarged form, I notice...no crown.

And it has a green enamel band, with what look to be shamrocks on it.

    Irish ?

      Bill,

Are there any hallmarks on the reverse of it?

I believe it is a badge for the 6th Duke of Connaught's Royal Canadian Hussars. The shamrocks are probably symbolic of the Duke of Connaught.

Yep, there's a thread on a metal or cloth version of this on this forum somewhere, from a few months ago.

            Found the thread.......
