Never seen the flash per se, but it would have been worn by personnel attached to the Cdn HQ in London during the war, I believe.

Not disputing what you say, but the other thread simply says "Legion of Frontiersmen", without any explanation, and a subsequent question about references goes unanswered. Are there references for Impromptu's statement?
