Right is o a Capain not a Major. As with Officers kit, these were private purchase and not issue. They are of much finer quality than the ORs. I have an example somewhere here of both Officer and ORs the weave of the Officers is much finer.
I see nothing setting off warning bells on this example. As noted above, be sure to check for a name tag inside all pockets, but normally in the inside pocket.Comment

The WWII example I have for a Lt Colonel in the RA has the metal chain inside the collar which is typical for WWII period examples.
