    Picked up these this week, nice mixed bunch

        The Owl is for 76 Search Light Regt RA (TA) and come in pairs.

          They all look like British to me, on a quick peek, except for the CIB patch. Try the British Badge Forum for an ID on your 'Greek hero' or 'running devil' or whatever he is.

            There are some very nice badges amongst that group, are they all keepers or will they be moved on?

              It looks like a monkey with a sword and shield in its hand to me I am thinking maybe a locally made Indian patch.

                  Yes, It does. possibly one of the Indian support divisions/brigades, which of course had local references and sometimes whimsical designs. As I recall, one featured the rear end of an elephant, as they supplied and supported an armoured division.

                    A few more from the same collection, any ideas who would wear the cloth slip on shoulder strap slide at the bottom of the photo, it looks like it may have had a metal shoulder title on it at one time as well, from the info I was given it was picked up in Egypt by the original owner of these badges who was in ENSA
