    the place of the West Nova Scotia Regiment in Italy is Ortona!

    but I put a picture of them in Rotterdam where we can clearly see their badge...

                    Nice pics of the Hasty-P badge and a nice pic of "KATIE". I served with the Hsty-P's from 74 to 79. The unite has restored a brengun carrier and named it "KATIE". It's on display on the drill floor of the armories A Coy in Belleville Ontario Canada. They bring "KATIE" to the Warriors Day Parade in Coe Hill Ontario. It is the center piece of their display there. They even have had a plough hooked on the carrier and have even ploughed ground with it. When on display in the armories they have the plough attached behind the carrier. Our regiment's other nickname is The Plough Jockeys since the majority of the men that went over seas with the regiment were farmers
