1940 british battledress trousers - Label

Hi, I recently aquired a pair of 1940 pattern BD trousers that have this label inside, there is no date visible but can anyone tell me when they would have been made?
    Cheers,
    Rick

Hi Guys, thanks for the input, I can see no arrow or any other markings. I do know that they belonged to and were worn by an officer of the 16/5th Lancers during WW2 in Italy. I will take and post some full pictures later today,
        Cheers,
        Rick

From the top of my head war aid bd was made in 1943 and 1944. There should be a second label present.

They are most commonly seen in that theater and as Luc mentions, mid to late war issued.

The Label tells everything. W.A. means War Aid and the Maker is a known US Company.

Yes indeed, which is why I asked, though perhaps I should have just stated it.

The date is there on the label but the bottom line of stitching goes through it, possibly 1943 at the end
