Is ca. 180 EUR for this one much? I have 23 Hours from here. Dated 1944, BDM leather liner.

The liner looks to be a cross between some original pieces, and a "home - restored" item. (The "horse hair" padding is entirely wrong, and the sweatband is home-made)
..There are a few BMB web-straps about, ... it's worth waiting for a good clean example ...(This one is a waste of money !!)

Liner is wrong, Shell repainted, Chinstrap looks postwar. I would`nt pay 18 euro for it nevermind 180. Original Web Chinstrap Para helmets are not too hard to find. Just be patient.

Hi Junior, Des and gary have given you good advice. In fact, I think the whole thing looks post war Belgian? Note the colour to the helmet shell and the grey/green shade to the webbing.

Guys,

this is a "modified" DR (Dispatch Rider) helmet being sold of as para to unsuspecting collectors.
Just look at the liner rim which is riveted to the helmet.
