    Unknown British equipment

    Anyone know what this may be used for? I think wartime british?

    They are brace attachments, used to connect the ends of the equipment braces to the webbing belt.
    Normally dated & maker name on the back, & probably British, or commonwealth country.

        Judging on the colour, I would say that these were canadian made (the colour of the webbing is more yellow then the british made webbing).

          1937 Pattern Web Equipment to be precise.

          Usually used by officers with a compass pouch/fieldglasses case on one side and an ammo pouch/holster on the other (for example).
