Fairbairn Sykes issued to all ww2 brit Paratroopers

Hello to all

Does all ww2 brit Paratroopers were issued a Fairbairn Sykes knife ?

Or does soldiers had to work their way to acquire one ?

I do not believe that all British Paratroopers were issued with an FS Knife. It is probable that if the use of one may be required then they would be issued. There are certainly examples of Airborne Troops using them, also some Glider Pilots as well, but I am sure that many did not. Regards, Clive.
