French Drop Leaflets and FFI Armband/Photos

Some items ive come across recently, these have come to light from the estate of a 1960's/80's antique dealer who passed away aroind 7 years ago, the gent had so much gear that its taking years to go thru the items. This lot is French related being a number of drop leaflets and some B/W resistance tpe photos and FFI armband. Thought id post them here for you to see before i sell them on. All the best, Pete

This one is a mystery to me, wrong spelling of Adolph Hitler and funny looking swastika, done on purpose?

Hi,

What you got there is a fake obituary for the death of Hitler.

In the Netherlands these are quite common and easy to find. They were made by the underground (illegal) press in the last days of the war.

You got a French (or Belgian) version. These were made after the war, because the war in Belgium and France was already over in April 1945.

The obituaries are definately inspired by each other as the text is almost identical.
