S.o.e. Scope

Got this with other military bits
is this a soe scope 3 inchs long 3/4 inch width
pulls out to 6 inchs
does focus ,and has been painted black, no markings,

Not sure what would make it an 'SOE' scope except marketing. Why would an agent want a scope?

More to the point, there should be markings on it! Even the SOE were a military unit and very big on marking stuff. My guess is a private [civilian] telescope. They're not uncommon.

Not a pattern I would associate with SOE Will. I am attaching a couple of images I used in another thread of the pattern that they would have used. Regards, Clive.
