    Other RAF/Commonealth site suggestion ??

I have access to e-stand and will use it, though born in the wrong place to be an RAF enthusiast (I'm in the US).

I've looked and can't find but assume there are history related RAF sites one can join, pay, etc to sell/buy/trade books, framed prints, etc.

Any suggestions ?? Worth the time for me to look into others due to amount of material, 300+ upper quality books, quality framed hard-to-find prints by Wootton, Taylor, etc.

Been on WAF forever but e-stand generally militaria, not many who actually read, and things like framed prints go under photos and few see them.

Though have some things I want, it's a small list compared to volume I have to sell. Suggestions welcome, obviously those with a reasonable percent of US members sought due to cost of airmail for books and framed prints to other countries impossible. Feel free to post links, PM, or e-mail me at yergemar@gmail.com with any ideas.

    Many thanks,
    Mark

Thanks for the link, joined and posted an inquiry if there are a reasonable number of US located members. Airmail costs make selling outside the US prohibitive in general.

Trying to avoid adding various fees and BS to prices. I hate Amazon in general, Ebay not much better.

Galleries in my vicinity are clueless about prints (aviation) like Robert Taylor, Frank Wootton, etc. All have a fee if sells or does njot, plus a percentage from 1/3 to 1/2. Since prices I've come up with are less than anywhere else delivered (even with pack/ship costs) they're a waste. Most books though not common and/or best on topic, are to low for all the Ebay fees and BS.

Had a friend here for 2 days this weekend talking about it, showing him some examples. Rather hilarious at the number of books on individual aircraft types. 20+ each different on Spitfires, B-17s, etc and I never got into units. Just the aircraft LOL.

Will try E-stand first, then keep looking. Rather surprised how much stuff I have when I look and actually count. Guess the same with everyone.

Got in the site recommended, seems about as unorganized as can be. They might look here to see how to set up a forum and said so. Doubt that will please who owns it. And posting photos a nightmare, poor server.

Started posting some of the RAF art on e-stand, forgot all the time with photos, descriptions, etc. With so much to post, wish I had a typist. I hate typing (and write books!!).
