strange naming on 15 star on estand

The naming does not look right and theres no serial number!what does everyone else think?

Hey, Paddywhack!

7th Infantry suggests South African forces to me - not British, Canadian, Indian Army [nor ANZAC, I don't think']. Not sure about how the SA gongs were named - serial nos. may have been optional. Also possible, though less likely, that it was done in error and passed inspection anyway. They did name tens of thousands of them, after all.

Might be worth offering for just for the oddity value.

I agree with the unit likely being South African, Certainly not British or Indian Army.
What frankly bothers me is that the original trio has been broken up; good luck trying to find the BWM & VM.
Personally, I have no interest in these single medals.
