Hi All,

I recall seeing somewhere the criteria for various WWII awards....I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction, as I can't seem to find the thread. I am looking for award criteria for the following:
Africa Star
1939-45 Star
Africe Service Medal

The criteria vary depending on factors such as arm of service, so if you can narrow it down to army, RN, RAF, land or sea or air crew etc it'd be helpful.

Has some detail on the 1939-45 Star, search this forum on words such as "star" & a few more threads should be thrown up.

Hey Leigh,

Thanks for the quick response. I am looking for info for the SAAF (I presume would be the same as the RAF). He was ground crew, an air mechanic.

I will look for info and let you know, but any help will be appreciated.
