    Armoured Helmet with decals

    Hello

Hopefully there's somebody who can indentify this Armoured Helmet?

First I thought it could be decals of the Governor General Foot Guards but they had a red arrow.

Number 51 in white on a red background. And a white arrow on the side.

There is a name in the helmet as well: Prescot. And the liner is dated 1943.
    Please let me know.

Can you make out any red paint that may have faded? The GGFG used 51 on red as their Arm of Service identifier and wore a red 'plume' (not an arrow) on the helmet. The CGG wore a white plume but used "52" on red.

Yes I know. I could find the right worth but indeed no arrow but a plume.

It could be a helmet of the British Grenadier Guards, they had vehicle number 51 on red and also a white plume. Who can confirm this?

The patch painted on the helmet looks maroon in colour. The 51 is attributed to the Lord Strathcona Horse, 5 Canadian Armoured Division. A Tpr F. Prescott and a Preston served with the LdSH during the war.

Thank you very much for the information! Do you know if the LdSH used a plume on the side of the helmet?

I hope this is the right information about the name and helmet. But I don't have any proof about the plume on the side of the helmet. Had the LdSH this white plume??
