Lancaster trunk ?????

Picked up this trunk today. Are there any members that can shed some light on this trunk as to age or scarcity?

Are any of the contents still in the trunk? Be nice to have the listed items to fill the trunk

I'm not sure its valuable, but I think its probably quite rare. like bombsights, radios and so on, the less belligerent equipment armies produce tends to get lost or junked more often and more quickly than guns, bayonets, medals and so on. As pzrwest says, it would be a neat project to re-fill it!

Filling the trunk might be hard to get everything into the trunk. There should be a packing diagram somewhere how everything goes into the trunk. If it isn't packed right might be hard to get everything into the trunk.
