      Hi christian,

I've been looking around and I believe your right on the clasp but, that's the way I bought it and figured I'd leave it where it was, maybe if I trade them off the next owner can swap the clasp, it looks like it's been on the first one for a long time.
      Regards,
      Kevin

Hi Kevin, I am not up on the value of the Canadian medal, but you should get your money back on the War Medal, and the Atlantic Star would be worth about £25.

        Cheers, Ade.

An unusual, although possible combination for a late-war entry Royal Canadian Navy member.

The others are quite correct that the Maple Leaf Clasp belongs on the middle medal (Canadian Volunteer Service Medal) and denotes "overseas" service. Interesting that the CVSM looks rather toned while the war medal is not, I wonder whether it's a British rather than Canadian issue medal (i.e. Cupro Nickel vice 800 Silver.)

Nice gongs and probably worth in the region of $50-75, so well worth your ten bucks.

              Cheers,

              Adam

                Hi,

actually they are both toned about the same, it must have been the flash, here is a shot with no flash.

                Thanks,

                Kevin
