COMMANDER OF BRITISH EMPIRE ORDER - Assistance Needed

greetings Forum

I've recently acquired a type 1 CBE Britannia neck order
while I'm new to collecting this genre of militaria
I was curious on how to authenticate ... i understand these were
awarded until late 30s & have no hallmarks like type 1 OBE &MBE
I notice a CLEAR resin coating over the hand painted blue flur


I'd attach photos but I cannot figure out entitlements to do so

if any of you are experts with this award Please assist ... I'll be glad to forward photos to you

thanks for photos .. I have civilian type I
medal looks same ! I cannot tell from your photo if there is a clear substance on the four powder blue portions on CBE

if struck me as odd that this clear plastic epoxy tecnology was available during the dates This badge was constructed
