UK Motorcycle Licence - BSA WM20?

What UK licence would one need to ride a 1940's BSA WM20 motorcycle?

It's 496cc but has only 13bhp, do you need to apply for a full A1 licence or would the A2 be ok due to the lower power output?
Just wondering with the new laws now days.

So get a provisional then take the CBT test etc?

Pretty sure it's based on the cc of the engine, and 496cc would require a full A1 licence

Here in Ontario Canada all you need is an M classification on you driver's licence. If you take the driving test with a 3 wheeled motorcycle you can only drive motorcycles with 3 wheels. But if you take the test on a 2 wheeled motorcycle you can drive both a 2 wheeled motorcycle and the 3 wheeled motorcycles
