Car boot find WW1 RFC/RAF gloves

Well i was only saying last week all I find nowadays at car boot sales is rubbish!

Then today found these, belongs to the woman's father, he in turn used them when he had a taxi in London, it was a horse drawn taxi!

They looks live aviators gloves to me so I bought them

Can anyone date them?

Just seen another pair and the stamp is clearer that mine and it reads,

'Patent No. 4142/1907. Made under license'

Here is another shot of the inside with the A.M. stamp which appears in each glove

Very nice gloves and not that easy to find. You find more of the leather flying jackets and helmets than you do the gloves

Do not know Dave but its Liverpool show next week and I will find out then as there are a couple of dealers there that deal in ww1 items so we will see what they offer
