Canadian WW2 flight Hat? Please help identify?

I picked up this flight hat for $20 at an antique booth at the mall, after further examination I found the Canadian Arrow stamp and a partial stamp first line "Ruff?....." Second line "wirz?...." And a stamp for 1943? I haven't been able to turn up much, any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

What you have is a RCAF Second pattern flight helmet.

Identical to the British B pattern flight helmet.

This type of flight helmet was used from 1939-1945.

For $20, you did a fantastic job. Congrats!

It's a nice helmet, favoured by BCATP instructors. Note the lack of ear cups and fixings for an oxy mask. These were used in the open cockpit Finches and Moths
