never had any luck finding militria stuff at my local carboot sales myself.

Yes its hard to find nowadays with all these dealers arriving first thing to pick
the best stuff.

These came from a lady whos son used to work at Chiswick auction house.
There was also 2 daggers on another stall ss and Lufty both fake.

Incident officers helmet liner dated 39........Does the H above refer to Hospital?

I think the "H" refers to the district. I have notes somewhere on these helmets, but as I don't collect them, the notes are not easily located in my mess I call a computer. 500G of mixed up files , photos, notes and other unorganized pieces of information.

I do like the look of both these lids and have to say, I never find anything at sales like this. I think you did great on these for sure.

If you could find those notes on the helmets that would be great.
