    Raaf overseas cap

found this Cap in a pile of clothes. Dated 1942, has RAAF Insignia. Is this correct for this type of Cap. Does it have any collectable interest.
    cheers Robert

    RAAF Cap

The buttons have a crown and eagle, cap badge has been attached in a way I find shonky.

All appears correct. Blackened-bronze badge is correct for WW2-era caps.

That's a great cap, there's lot of interest out there for it!

thanks for the confirmation. I bought this from an auction over the internet. Most of the items were incorrectly described and fake. The cap was in a lot of old Army tunics belts which turned out to be mainly rubbish the cap was inside a Battle Dress Blouse and hence not included in the description or photograph. A welcome score.
              cheers Robert
