    Glengarry's era ?

    Hi . Is it possible to have an idea of the era of this Glengarry ? There is no stamp, no date . Is there a way to date it ?

      Glengarry caps are very hard to date, and on this one the badge is in the wrong place from the others I have seen or own. The early versions have a leather edge trim and the ribbed silk trim was introduced during WWI I think, so hard to date them.

          Have to look at mine. I think it's a 1941 stamped one, also Scottish Horse.

            Hi Christophe

            WW1 glens in general had a leather sweatband. The issue as others have stated is that most of these have no date or makers marks so they could be 5 years old and used hard and put away wet or 60 years old. There is no real way to tell with them. I hope my two cents helps
