Something i purchased a couple of weeks ago and i need some help on ''ID'' please, same pattern as the wartime examples but no markings at all, im of the opinion that its post war, perhaps 46/47 pattern. Interesting that this tunic has no seam down the middle as WW2 examples and no seam under the armpits as with 49 pattern bds, the two sets i bought were to the RAMC, ONE HAVING A ''CORPS'' numbering to the inside, anyway folks any help would be great. Pete.

I have a late war Canadian made BD blouse with the same type of collar closure, though mine has a central seam down the back. It has a Canadian makers stamp and is dated February 1945.
It is shown is post #15 of this thread.

The button tab on the collar and the collar itself don't seem right for a '47-pattern Canadian blouse. Should have a 3-pce. lay-down collar with split lapels, and a button hole on the left collar (see Canadian Military Police Virtual Museum site for examples).
Description from that site:
"The primary winter field and service dress uniform of the postwar Canadian Army was essentially the same as the wartime army, ie: battledress. Second World War vintage battledress was worn until about 1947, when a new pattern battledress was adopted. It was similar in style to the earlier pattern, but the blouse had lapels and was intended to be worn with the collar open. It also lacked the seam down the center of the back. The new pattern trousers were similar to the Second World War issue, but were made without the field dressing pocket on the right thigh."
You can check this page from Canadian Soldiers as well.

Definitely not Canadian... quality of wool is different and the button tab at the neck is not consistent with that seen on Canadian BD. The position of the pockets is quite low as well and looks rather odd. Judging by the quality of wool, button holes and odd placement of pockets my thought is that this may be a reproduction tunic.
