    Nice little advert pick up.

Picked this lot up from my advert in the local paper medals and insignia of 1522627 gnr R.G.Scovell 17th I ndian division 14th Army Burma where he served from 1941-45 most if not all of Indian manufacture. The star at the bottom of the frame with medals is from a Japanese helmet which I think has been repainted and the bottom ribbon is for the 1939 Japan China incident. Nice, but the flash in the centre is upside down and missing the collar grenade from the centre, examine the indentations and holes.

Thanks for the comments, always nice to have private buys.He had a pal frame them for him which is probably why the ribbons are upside down as is the Japanese star.Roger
