Thirty Grand?

I'd spotted this group this morning - along with his other offerings. It seems he's rather optimistic with pricing. I much prefer the see-thru bikini he's selling.

.... 30K's not bad for the group... I wonder what Liverpool Medals or Dix, Noonan & Webb would fetch for this in Sterling.....
I have no horse in the race, when I saw it I was amazed at the caliber, as well as the price... If you skip looking at the 30K tag, it's a pretty special group that you just don't see much of on this side of the pond!

Hmmm, I suppose £16,000 is more palatable for a CB DSO group of such pedigree - just! And I suppose it's about right for a German lingerie vendor. I actually prefer his other offering - the MBE trio, but three grand (£1,600)? Ashanti Stars are seldom encountered in groups, and the trio is unusual, if a little (ludicrously) expensive for (what are essentially) unnamed gongs.
