    Polish Para collar (Duff type)

Here's an example (to follow up an old thread) of a 100% Duff 2nd Pattern Polish Para collar kite.
Note the Parachutists lack of 1) feet 2) Belt 3) Rigging lines , and poor quality casting, and "monkey metal" production.
(Not to mention the cloth material used )

Hardly surprising from this seller Gary!

petehal1 makes me so angry. I'd say 90% of his stuff is fake. He sells it happily though to the unsuspecting eBayers. Infact, I got so angry with him today when I saw he had just listed a fake Glider Pilot Wing because I had only just listed an original one. It is actions like these that spoil the hobby and decrease the value of original bits.

    Mine:

Thanks for showing me what the fake one look like though

        Also

        Hello Jack,
Also, the padre collars would be VERY VERY difficult to find, as there were only a handful of padre/chaplains associated with the Brigade throughout it's existance ....
..One in particular was KIA during Market-Garden ! .. lessening the odds of these patches being real in the 1st place.

        Gary.

LOL!! Look at the "Questions from other buyers" section on his GPR Wing. I don't know if I started this from what I had put on the one I listed or not, but whatever people are finding him out and he is denying it!

            This is one:
            <table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0"> <tbody><tr bgcolor="#f4f4f4"><td width="410">Q: When were these made? Last week? Sure looks fake to me........</td> <td align="right" class="help"> Answered on 12-Sep-04</td> </tr> <tr> <td width="30"></td> <td colspan="2"> A: I do not deal in fakes.A pair of good classes maybe helpfull. I didn't realise ...

              Jack,
I didn't realise that E-bay now posts the Q's and A's between potential bidders and the seller.

This no-doubt will generate a major "source of quotes" in future references through the forum .... !!
(Have you seen the "Barn-find" threads in the SS uniforms section BTW .. its a classic) ?
              http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ad.php?t=65780)

I wonder if E-bay realise what a can of worms they have opened

              Regards

              Gary
