Does anyone knowledgeable in ww2 Royal Navy stuff ?

- I oftently see jumpers that doesn't bears the classic "Admiralty ..." label but just a "Plymouth...." one that bears no date at all

Those Plymouth jumpers are cuffs lined with plain blue twill which put it roughly around 1943-1944 (i was told it was white twill lined in 1944 and after). They global design is exactly the same, with buttoned cuffs and 2 breast pockets

Are those stuff ww2 anyway ?

perhaps merchant navy? you know the military stuff was usually dated with wd mark somewhere

Seems like nobody has any interest in Brit theme and less in Navy

Is it possible that the Plymouth marked version is foreign made, Australian perhaps as they unlike the British often have name and number on clothing labels?
