    WW1 British Identity Disk Help

    Found this today while picking at lunch, I think it's WW1 but not sure, it's made of brass and has alot of stamps, Thoughts? Sorry for the bad pic of the reverse.

        cant find and match the the closest i can find is a william a brasted of the The Queen's Regiment, Labour Corps,on the census i can find a william h brast but thats about all i can find!could this for maybe a factory worker?

          Not my field but I believe the shape is not right for British military 'identity disks' which were round or eight sided and made of a fibre material, not brass. factory worker might well be a good bet.
