Would anyone know if this is a British helmet? I've had it for more than 10 years stuck on a shelf. It seems to be made of some type of kevlar-like material with a rough finish on the outside. I don't think it was ever used as it seems to be in mint condition. It has a white laminated card tied to the liner which states; "Instruction Label, care and use of the Parachutist's Lightweight Helmet" followed by the instructions. There is also a paper tag stuck to the inside which states; Courtaulds Aerospace, and other stuff...
