I dont know what it is with these "serious" auction houses but they never seem to put up any decent photos of their lots on the websites. I had a similar problem with Bonhams very recently who A) Failed to reply to questions I asked re: Lots in an upcoming auction and B) provided only a few photos of their lots and they were`nt even front and reverse shots!!? (which is obviously important on badges). They need to realise that not everyone can physically go to the viewings and they will get interest from all corners of the earth. I thought they had realised this considering most do have websites but they dont seem to be on the ball when it comes to answering questions or providing decent images which can be quite frustrating
