WW1 British Brodie Helmet??

Gents,

Not my area and I would appreciate some advice,please.

I bought this recently helmet recently and it appears to have a spare strap. Liner could be horse hair?

Yes, its a First World War British Tin Helmet. It was made between 1916 and 1918.
It doesnt look as though the liner has a rubber ring under the horse hair pad, which would suggest it was made in 1916/17
