It's a Commonwealth (I know Brits and Australians used it) drivers badge.

Might be Dutch Wielrijders (cyclists). There are many versions of it; maybe try google "wielrijders embleem".

Wrong pattern for a British drivers Prize badge.

          It is indeed Regiment Wielrijders.
          The emblem is Dutch.

The badge is badly corroded but it is most likely a Dutch collarbadge.

Not Wielrijders (Cyclists) but from Korps Motordienst (Motorised Transport) due to the thicker wheel. This badge was originally red painted.

Could have been from a Dutch POW.

            Regards.

It is a ventilation grill from the inside of a pith helmet.

                See http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ht=pith+helmet
