TA Units Sign from Carboot 56 London Division ?

Picked this sign up today from the local carboot, seller had no idea where it came from, measures 25" x 19", is the cat the formation sign for the "56th (London) Division" ?

Yes, it is. The sword is taken from the City of London coat-of-arms.

HI good morning , legend has it the design represents Dick Whittingtons cat , after the second world war some time in the late 1940`s I think the unit re-roled to an Armoured unit and the sword of London was added to the design .
its a nice lump
