Bullion tank insignia?

Just pick this piece up in a group of items, I have no idea when this piece was made. Small size about 2 inch tall, by an inch wide. Maybe a beret insignia?

Most of these I've seen are the metal versions.

Small Blazer Patch. I had them in different sizes from 2-4 Inches Dia.

It seems a bit big for a cap badge, I'm with Nico on this. Since it shows the Queen's crown, it can be dated post-1953.
