Canadian BD question!!

Hello,

I would like some help please with this Battledress.
Its an original BD with the original sewn insignia. It's in my collection for a while but I never had an idea about the two shoulder-titles. Why does this sergeant has these two titles? Does someone has a idea?

Its the tunic of sergeant G.C. Smith.

The tunic / patches all look to be original period pieces. It was against dress regulations to wear titles to more than one unit, so this tunic is an anomaly. At the end of the war many practices crept into use that were not sanctioned and perhaps that is what is shown here.
