Hi,

Can someone tell me the characteristics of the helmet worn by the Canadian troops during the First World War and the differences with the WWI British helmet?

as far as I am aware they were issued with helmets made in the UK, I did read somewhere that Canadian helmets had a rough textured tan finish and saw one once in this manner, I guess for a "real" Canadian WW1 helmet you would have to look out for one with some kind of div insignia,
