    Help with British Helmet (Zuckerman)?

Hello, how are you?i have this british helmet, but i don´t know nothing about this helmet, for who and for what was used?the paint seems to be in very good condition, is period time paint or it is postwar paint?

    Greetings.

I don't think it's British. It looks like the ones worn by oil-field workers before they switched to the fibreglass ones.

Hello, i have done a little research, and it is a WW2 British Civil Defence Helmet.
Made it in 1941, it seems that everything is ok with this one.
Just the paint, the colour seems to be right, but it is in very good condition. So i don´t know if it is a period time paint or repainted in postwar?
Here are 3 links with info about these helmets:

        Yes definately an English Zuckerman,
Made by, RO & Co....Rubery Owen & Co Ltd Darlaston UK. in June 1941.
The M is for Medium Helmet size,i cant make out the stamp on the liner but its a size 7.
It looks like it might have been refurbished at some time Post War with a new paint job and a new string to hold the liner in.
        But a nice example anyway
        Cheers Mick
