    Commando battledress M37

    Hallo.
I wonder if someone is able to tell me if these patches are originally stiched or might be "postwar" applied.

    Thank you!

    Thank you!

Commando titles (40-45) are black patches with red sewed 'commando'

the white 'commando' letters are post war IMO

      Hi,

White on black embroided patches were used during the second world war by army Commando units.

      Have a nice day,

          Hi!
So do you mean my patches are postwar considering the way of the embroided letters? angled in yours and orizzontal in mine?
          Thank you for your interest!

          Cheers

            ww2

yours are most likely ww2, but you would have to see the backs to know for sure.

              zig zag

upon further review of the original post, the lack of angled embroidering does give me some pause though.

I was referring to Glenn's post. I believe the titles on your blouse are replicas.

                  hallo guys,

I noted that the patch I put in this thread, the left one, is different from the right one: So the 2 red gladius and the right patch are similar; similar kind of embroiding, similar machine sewing.. but the left one is different both in embroiding and in sewing. So perhaps replaced.

These are pictures of the other patches..

                  Thank you for help!

                            Hi!

So do you think my patches are not ww2 too?
                            Thank you!

                              replica

IMO your patches are post WW2 because of the embroidery style and font size.
