Pte James Leonard Foley. Anzac & France. Killed in action 24/8/1916. Age 19.

Corporal John Henry Foley. No 717. 3rd Mobile Vet. Section. 1891-1917. LEST WE FORGET.

My great Granddads brothers John and James (post bellow) - both died in France.
After they died Tom (great Granddad) was given an exception because he was the last son (another died in an accident- William).

23 Squadron. Rank flying officer-rear gunner. Service 1/3/1941 - 24/1/1946. Middle east. Interupted his AFL career with Essendon/Geelong to serve his country.
