Is all ok with the helmet?It is a period WW2 British helmet?

The helmet will have markings on the cross straps and on the shell somewhere , these are often sold as Eight army helmets on ebay by one seller who has sold about 300 . Do a search for South African helmet here and you will find more info . Rob
