    Some Lighthorse Photographs

was at my Aunts the other day she has just got back from Singapore went to look up her first boyfriend. Turns out he was killed in Singapore by the Japanese. She promised him upon leaving that she would look him up if he didnt come back. She did a bit late had to wait for her husband of 50 years to die. She was glad to see him buried next to his close friend. Then a tirade about the Japanese I tried to change the subject when I noticed some Lighthorse photographs of Dangar and Horace. She wouldnt give them to me but I had them copied. Dangar was wounded at Amman 1918 they would not give him a pension as he refused to have his leg amputated instead he put up with the shrapnel. Anyhow here are some of the photographs in case someone finds them of interest. I will get the originals when she kicks the bucket her words. The first photograph is my Aunt in WW2 and the 2 old diggers before they died.

the soldier in this photograph is aboriginal hence his name. They couldnt vote but they could die for their country back then, little unfair.
