Need a little help on this lid, I think its RAF issue as its painted blue/gray more blue than grey. Its unusual in the fact that the chin strap doesn’t seem to be a standard one found on normal army issue lids (Its half canvass with a leather strap and buckle ? . Another thing which is unusual is that the profile of the helmet is very circular instead of the oval shape often encountered on army issue lids.I can not find any references to this helmet any where ?? <O</O
