British Para helmet question.

Is anyone aware of any 'legitimate' WW2 issue Brit Para helmets that were made/issued minus the rubber 'cap' that was glued to the crown of the interior of the helmet?

It's can often be missing on helmets, but I have never seen a helmet purposly made without it. Why do you ask?

Apart from the very rare P-pattern helmet they all had it. Even if the pad is missing , you will still see the place where it was glued on.
