    British Para Wings. WW2?

Here is another set of wings from the SOS last week. they are on a background material that looks to be RAF in color. Can anyone give me an age range for these. thanks

    Hello there.

They look the same as Royal Australian Airforce (RAAF) battle dress Para qualification wings, from the mid 60's through to early 90's. The same as Englands Paras first started, the RAAF here was also tasked with Parachute training of the armed services.

    Graham.

They look to me as though these are jump instructors wings from the 70s
      All the best

thanks for the information. The direction of the stitching on the wings made me wonder if they were of WW2 vintage. I had thought that horizontal stitching across the wings might be an indicator of age.
