Hello,
This Badge was in a lot of Canadian Patches I just bought. I know it was the War Cry of the Fraser Clan "I am Ready" but not sure if it is Military or civil and any Help is appreciated. Thanks in advance for your Help.

Blazer Patch of the 78th Fraser Highlanders founded under the reign of George the 2nd (1727-60). Old but not Perion.

The 78th was raised for the French and Indian wars and took part in the capture of Montreal. After the war they were disbanded and many soldiers stayed in Quebec others returned to Scotland. There are several branches in Canada and in the summer months the pipe band and musket company perform at Fort D'Ile Ste Helene.
