This is obviously a Dutch award rather than German, but what is it?

The sellers description is flakey as is the identification. What is it really worth?

Looks like a post war remembrance plaque from indeed Holland to me.

Can you tell me anything more about it? Can you read the inscription?

Might it be for members of Dutch resistance or to commemorate those who fought alongside the Allies through Holland during 1944-45?
