    need help with a KNIL Klewang HEMBRUG hb4

    need help with a KNIL Klewang HEMBRUG hb4. I know absolutely zero about these klewangs so any helm would be great.

      An interesting example Edwin. A good website for reference is http://www.thepirateslair.com/9-m189...g-cutlass.html

      As a side-note, I have a couple of examples of the modified version used by the Japanese after capturing the Netherlands East Indies in WW2. These are mostly the "Heiho" models and used again by the Americans following the liberation. The conversion was to shorten the blade and scabbard, also to remove the guard. A neat image of one in use by an American Marine, fastened behind his holster is shown on the website and below. Regards, Clive.
